Pre-Production • Adult Animated Horror-Comedy Musical
Three dead musicians finally have all the time in the world—if their finite supply of anti-decay vitamins holds.
The Project
The zombie apocalypse lasted two weeks. Everyone had already seen the movies and knew what to do. Nobody planned for the leftovers.
Spike, Raven, and Johnny are three self-aware zombies who spent the entire outbreak rehearsing in a basement. Without needing food, water, or sleep, they discover that death has finally given their struggling band the one thing it never had: unlimited time to get good.
Their continued survival depends on Raven’s carefully controlled vitamin regimen, which slows their irreversible decay. When animal-rights activists, armed rednecks, television crews, and a government black-ops team converge on their home, the band is forced onto the road with a rapidly shrinking supply.
Their destination is a nationally televised rock-band audition—and possibly their last chance to prove that being undead does not mean being finished.
Zombies R'Us is an adult animated horror-comedy musical about friendship, identity, unexpected alliances, and three dead musicians searching for a reason to keep playing.
